Dental surgery and implant treatment
Replacing missing teeth with implants is a surgical treatment that deserves careful planning. We assess bone, gums and general health first, then explain whether a single implant, a bridge on implants or a full-arch solution suits you.

Treatments in dental surgery
Each surgical treatment page explains candidacy, healing time, risks and how many visits to expect.

Dental Implants
A titanium root and a fixed crown to replace one tooth, several teeth or support a bridge.

All-on-6
A full arch of fixed teeth on six implants, for patients missing most or all teeth in a jaw.

All-on-4
A fixed full arch of teeth on four implants, often possible with less bone.
Planning comes first
Before any implant surgery we take X-rays or a 3D scan, check bone quality and gum health, and review your medical history and medication. This tells us whether implants are possible, how many are needed, and whether additional procedures such as bone grafting might be required.
Implant treatment is normally carried out in two phases: placement of the implants, then a healing period of about three to six months while they bond with the bone, followed by the final teeth. For patients travelling from abroad this usually means two trips. Your plan will show the expected timing.
What dental surgery covers here
- Single and multiple dental implants
- All-on-4 full-arch restorations on four implants
- All-on-6 full-arch restorations on six implants
- Extractions and other surgical procedures where clinically needed
Your safety
Surgery carries risks, and some medical conditions, medicines and habits (especially smoking) affect healing. We ask for a full medical history and may ask for a letter from your doctor. If implants are not the right option for you, we will say so and explain the alternatives.
Frequently asked questions
How many trips will I need for implants?
Most implant treatments need two visits: one for implant placement and one, after about three to six months of healing, for the final teeth. Your plan confirms the exact timing after we have seen your scans.
Can I have implants if I have been told I do not have enough bone?
Sometimes. Options such as tilted implants (used in All-on-4) or bone grafting can help in some cases. We can only answer this after reviewing a 3D scan.
Other areas of expertise
Start with a conversation, not a commitment.
Send us your questions and, if you have them, recent X-rays or photos. A dentist reviews your case and our coordinators explain the options, the likely timeline and the cost before you plan any travel.
