Cosmetic dentistry with a natural result in mind
Some patients want a subtle refresh, others a brighter and more uniform smile. Our role is to explain what is realistic for your teeth, then design a result that fits your face, your bite and your preferences.

Treatments in cosmetic dentistry
From a single whitening session to a full smile makeover, every option is explained on its own page.

Smile Makeover
A personalised combination of treatments to change the colour, shape and balance of your smile.

Dental Crowns
A custom cap that restores the shape, strength and appearance of a damaged tooth.

Teeth Whitening
In-clinic laser whitening in about an hour, aiming for a brighter shade that still looks natural.

Porcelain Veneers
Thin E-max or Empress ceramic shells that change colour, shape and symmetry with minimal preparation.

Composite Bonding
Tooth-coloured resin sculpted by hand to fix chips, small gaps and uneven edges, often in one visit.
How we approach cosmetic treatment
Cosmetic dentistry changes how teeth look, but it must also respect how they work. Before we suggest veneers or crowns, we check your bite, your gums and the health of each tooth. We then show you the options, including more conservative ones such as whitening or bonding where they would achieve what you want.
We do not push one style on everyone. Some patients prefer a very natural look; others want a brighter result. We discuss shade, shape and length with you and agree them before the final restorations are made.
Materials used for cosmetic restorations
Depending on the tooth and the result you want, we work with zirconia, E-max (lithium disilicate) and Empress ceramics for crowns and veneers, porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns where a budget option is appropriate, and tooth-coloured composite resin for bonding. Your plan states which material is proposed for each tooth and why.
Choosing between bonding, veneers and crowns
Composite bonding is the most conservative option and is often completed in one visit, but it stains and chips more easily than ceramic. Porcelain veneers cover the front surface of a tooth and give a durable, natural shine with limited preparation. Crowns cover the whole tooth and are usually chosen when a tooth is heavily filled, cracked or root-treated. See the comparison on each treatment page.
Frequently asked questions
Will my teeth look artificial?
They should not. We plan shade, shape and proportions with you, and you see a trial or design of the result before the final restorations are bonded. A brighter result is possible if that is what you want, but it is your choice.
Is cosmetic treatment reversible?
Whitening and most bonding are minimally invasive. Veneers and crowns usually require some removal of enamel, which cannot be reversed, so we always discuss the more conservative options first.
