Travelling for dental treatment goes most smoothly when the planning starts before the flights are booked. This checklist follows the order in which most of our international patients prepare.
Before you book anything
- Send us clear photos of your smile and, if you have them, recent X-rays or a 3D scan
- Tell us about your medical history, medication and any allergies
- Mention previous dental work, such as crowns, implants or root canal treatment
- Say what you would like to change and what matters most to you
A dentist reviews this information and we send you a written plan with the stages, the number of days you are likely to need and the cost. The plan is confirmed after the examination in the clinic, because some findings only show up in person.
How many days to allow
Cosmetic treatment such as veneers is usually completed within one stay of several days; minimal-preparation veneers typically take four to six days. Implant treatment usually needs two trips: one for placing the implants and another, after roughly three to six months of healing, for the final teeth. Your plan states the days for your case.
Booking flights and accommodation
- Book flights only once your plan and appointment dates are confirmed
- Leave a quiet final day before you fly in case a small adjustment is needed
- After surgical treatment, ask your dentist when it is safe to fly
- Choose accommodation that makes the trip to the clinic in Konyaaltı easy
During your stay
Plan gentle days around your appointments. After surgery, the first days are for rest, soft food and following your aftercare instructions, not for long excursions or strenuous activity. Keep your coordinator's contact details to hand.
Before you travel home
- Make sure your bite feels comfortable
- Ask for written aftercare instructions and any prescriptions
- Agree how to reach us if you have a question at home
- If you have a second visit planned, confirm the approximate timing
