How Root Canal Treatment Works
During a root canal at Rubi Smile:
Numbing the tooth
We fully numb the area so you stay comfortable during the treatment.
Cleaning inside the tooth
The dentist opens the tooth from the top, removes the infected or damaged nerve (pulp), and cleans the root canals carefully.
Disinfection and filling
The canals are disinfected and then filled with a special biocompatible material to seal them and prevent new infection.
Final restoration
The tooth is usually finished with a filling or a crown to protect it and restore normal function and appearance.
